Highlights
1) Test Smarter with Adaptive Testing
Make every campaign smarter by letting Tatango run your A/B tests for you. Adaptive Testing eliminates the manual work of splitting lists, tracking results, and deploying winners, so you can test regularly and make data-driven decisions on every send. With Adaptive Testing you can:
- Build up to 4 message variants in a single test
- Choose what percentage of your audience receives the test
- Set your winner window anywhere from 1 to 48 hours after send
- Let Tatango automatically deliver the winner based on click-through rate
Review detailed results across all variants in the Performance Dashboard. More frequent testing means more insights into what resonates with your supporters, directly improving ROI on every future campaign. Available on accounts with Donation Link Tracking disabled.
2) Clean Up Your Tag Library in Seconds
Managing a large tag library just got faster. Select tags individually, select all visible, or select your entire library, then delete, favorite, or unfavorite in bulk. Whether you’re cleaning up 5 tags or 500, you can act on them all at once.
Navigate to your Subscriber Tags library under settings, use the checkboxes to select individual tags or use Select All for bulk selection, then choose your action from the bulk actions menu. Changes apply immediately to all selected tags.
3) Saved Staff Contacts for Test Messages
Stop typing phone numbers every time you send a test. Save your reviewers as named contacts in the Send Test Message field, then search by name or number to add them in seconds. Add multiple recipients at once using chips, and your most recently used contacts surface first for high-volume testing days.
Edit or delete contacts directly from the dropdown to keep your list current, and send to multiple saved contacts in a single action.
Other Updates
1) Sync Donors Automatically with DonorPerfect
Keep your donor data in sync between DonorPerfect and Tatango without manual exports or compliance gaps. Opted-in donors with mobile numbers sync from DonorPerfect to Tatango daily, and when a subscriber texts STOP, their opt-out updates in DonorPerfect within seconds to keep you compliant.
Map any DonorPerfect field, standard or custom, to Tatango custom fields for personalization and segmentation. Donation history syncs hourly so you can segment by giving behavior and measure which campaigns are raising money. Setup takes about 15 minutes through a guided wizard, no calls or custom configuration required.
2) SOC 2 Type 2 Compliance Renewed
Tatango successfully renewed its SOC 2 Type 2 certification in April 2026, providing independent verification that your supporter data is protected by enterprise-grade security practices over a continuous 12-month period.
Unlike Type 1 audits that assess controls at a single point in time, Type 2 certification proves our security practices operate effectively over an extended period. No action is required on your part. Enterprise clients can request our SOC 2 report through their account team for compliance verification.
3) New Report Builder Datasets
Two new reports are now available in Report Builder. The Message Credit Events Report gives you detailed visibility into credit consumption patterns and billing events, while the Recurring Message Summary Report brings all your recurring message campaigns into a single view for analysis.
Together these reports make it easier to track credit usage and measure long-term engagement across drip campaigns, appointment reminders, and subscription sequences.
