2024 was an incredible year of progress at Tatango. We empower nonprofits to drive higher outcomes—connecting supporters, amplifying missions, and creating meaningful impact through effective text messaging. This year, we introduced groundbreaking enhancements designed to improve efficiency, security, and results.

While we had over 3,200 software releases in 2024, the items were organized around some key themes.

1. Enhanced Deliverability: At the end of the day, the message only counts if it makes it to the subscribers phone. This year we launched many enhancements to take our industry-leading deliverability to the next-level. From advanced monitoring, and additional validation on mobile phone numbers to rigorous system checks, we get messages delivered faster and more reliably than any other text solution.

2. Advanced Segmentation: We help you target your audience more effectively. Our simple AND/OR Segmentation gives you unmatched flexibility to create precise, tailored audiences. And our new Segments feature streamlines your campaign setup by letting you save segmentation options for future sends. 3. Integrations: Connecting with leading platforms to streamline how nonprofits can work with Tatango to maximize efficiency  is a major area of focus.  This year we proudly expanded our integrations with Blackbaud including Luminate Online Groups, – where you can now sync opted-in supporters seamlessly  and target key audiences right from Tatango. Additionally, our Raiser’s Edge NXT Integration allows you to sync new contacts and capture donation data to personalize messages and maximize impact. Finally, we rolled out NGP VAN and EveryAction integrations, enabling real-time opt-in collection and smarter audience segmentation using engagement data.

4. Tatango Data Hub: This powerful tool delivers the data you need, where you need it, empowering you with strategic insights to drive smarter decisions and better outcomes.

5. Security: At Tatango, trust and security are at the heart of everything we do. In 2024, we elevated our industry-leading commitment with significant security advancements. We Achieved higher standards in SOC-2. And, we Became HIPAA compliant – a milestone for any healthcare organization who works with Tatango. These updates reflect our dedication to safeguarding your data and ensuring reliability at every level.

PowerLinks:

Personalize links at the recipient level, tailoring each message to the individual. By enabling this level of customization, customers can drive higher engagement, boost ROI, and significantly increase donations through more meaningful and targeted interactions.

Welcome Series Automation:

Enables large multi-affiliate nonprofits to send one message – keyed off one subscriber date field – across multiple events in an automated way. Users can easily have the message scheduling criteria applied to any number of events selected.

Segments:

The ability to save segmentation options for future sends by streamlining campaign setup process -saving time, reducing errors, and allowing customers to efficiently target their audience to improve campaign performance and impact.

And/Or Segmentation:

The introduction of AND/OR segmentation gives customers greater flexibility and precision in defining their target audiences. This powerful feature enables complex, granular audience targeting, allowing for highly tailored messaging.

Subscriber & Donation Merge Tags:

Add new merge tags to create more personalized and dynamic messages By seamlessly integrating tailored details such as recipient names, locations, or donation history, customers can enhance engagement and drive higher campaign performance.

Tatango Data Hub:

Enables clients to gain deeper insights into their campaigns, facilitating more informed strategic decisions. Customize standard reports to meet customers unique data needs.

Expanded Integrations

Blackbaud TeamRaiser®:

Allows users to fetch participants for a given event by inputting an event ID from within Tatango. The integration picks up opted-in participants and rapidly syncs them over to the user’s list. Bi-directional integration will sync opt-outs back to TeamRaiser in near-real time.

Blackbaud Luminate Online™:

Customers can enter a Luminate Group ID in Tatango and sync opted-in constituents to their Tatango list as subscribers. Customers save time by easily targeting audiences already built in Luminate for digital marketing. For P2P event-focused organizations, important groups like event participants, team captains, and top fundraisers can sync over automatically.

Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge NXT®:

Enables Blackbaud RE NXT users to sync newly opted in contacts to their Tatango list and capture donation data for segmentation and personalization of messages.

EveryAction & NGPVAN:

Major upgrade from our previous daily report-driven automation, providing a more seamless and efficient experience for customers and Tatango. Collect new opt-ins in near real-time, gather opt-ins from any form type available, leverage NGP VAN & EveryAction engagement data to segment and personalize messages.
