It’s always great to see big brands like Starbucks using text messaging to engage their customers. As you can see below, Starbucks is offering a chance to win a lunch for you and a friend by simply texting “BISTRO” to 697289.
When you text message ”BISTRO” to 697289, below is the response. My only concern is that only 30% of people can even open that link on their mobile phone, as we found out in a recent mobile marketing case study done at Tatango.
After clicking on that link, you will be taken to a mobile website that will allow you to receive Starbucks news and offers via text message in the future.
