Steve Madden SMS Lawsuit Reaches $10M Settlement

Although Steve Madden denies any wrong doing, they have agreed to pay a $10 million settlement to resolve the class action lawsuit, Ellison v. Steven Madden, LTD.
The SMS lawsuit claimed that the plantiff and others received a text message promoting Steve Madden products and events from short codes 91919 and 623336 without their consent, which is in direct violation of the TCPA.
Class members can receive up to $150 from this settlement if they fill out a valid claim form by April 11, 2013.
