This MMS message was just too funny not to post to our blog. While MMS campaigns can have awesome results, as we saw with Avenue’s MMS campaign achieving a 6,600% ROI, or the cool Van’s Valentine’s day MMS campaign, this MMS definitely didn’t live up to those standards.
There’s a good lesson to be had here, just because you’re able to do something in mobile marketing, doesn’t mean you have to do it. When you’re sending an MMS campaign, you have the option to send an image, but remember it’s an option, not a requirement. If you’re going to send an MMS message with an image, make sure it adds value to the campaign, not an image of a speech bubble with the word “Message” in it.
