This past week we held a text-to-win contest at Tatango to give away 5 Mophie iPhone Battery cases. The text-to-win campaign was pretty straight forward, with people texting the word TATANGO to 68398 to be entered into the drawing. Below is the text message sequence used for the campaign.
By using a bit.ly link, we were able to track how many people entered the contest, then continued on to watch the Mophie YouTube video demo on their mobile phone. The results were that 30% off all participants watched the video after interacting with the text-to-win campaign. I’d say that’s pretty good, considering only 40% of people have smartphones.
