ePrize Acquires Mobile Marketing Provider – Mozes

ePrize Acquires Mozes

Big news coming out of the mobile marketing industry today with the announcement that ePrize has acquired mobile marketing provider Mozes. My prediction is that this is only the first of many mobile marketing acquisitions that are going to take place in 2013, as software providers look to expand their offerings to include mobile into their multi-channel approach.

If you’re not familiar with Mozes, they’re leaders in mobile engagement around passion points like music, sports, entertainment, and causes. Their mobile marketing platform, Mozes Connect, helps marketers activate audiences around events and create interactive experiences that drive engagement, collect data, connect to social networks and establish long-term relationships. Mozes was founded in 2005 and has raised $17.3M from investors.

If you’re not familiar with ePrize, they’re a multi-channel solution spanning web, social media, mobile, and live events, headquartered in Detroit, with offices in New York, Nashville, Chicago, Los Angeles, Palo Alto, and Seattle. More than 50% of the Fortune 500 brands and many world-class agencies rely on ePrize’s creative, technology and legal services. Since 1999, ePrize has created CRM and loyalty campaigns in 44 countries for clients like Coca-Cola, Microsoft, The Gap, Lenovo, NHL, Yahoo!, P&G and AT&T.

Let me know what you think in the comments about ePrize’s purchase of Mozes, and if you think this is just the start to a year of acquisitions in the mobile marketing space.
