Do you know how to opt-out of an SMS campaign?
Many SMS providers make it really easy to opt-into an SMS campaign, but nearly impossible to opt-out. Tatango is different though as we recently became the first SMS provider to voluntarily add a short opt-out notice to each and every SMS campaign sent through our system.This move is one of many recently taken by Tatango to help fight SMS spam, including implementing a strict no “contact list uploads” policy. In addition to subscribers having the ability to text STOP to 68398 to unsubscribe from any SMS campaign, Tatango also uses the words QUIT, END and UNSUBSCRIBE as recommended by the Mobile Marketing Association U.S. Best Practices.
